Getting flowers and chocolates is pretty great, but sometimes the most romantic gestures don’t involve money at all. We thought we’d share with you some of the most romantic moments we’ve heard about, and celebrate the little things that make love special. If your significant other already does these, then you are one lucky duck! If not, we would suggest a share and tag immediately – nothing says romance like a big, fat hint!

  • Bringing you breakfast in bed (and making sure it has all your favorites)
  • Waiting until you’re free so you two can watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones together
  • Waking up early on a Friday, just to go for a walk on the beach with you
  • Supporting your new gym routine by coming with you to hold the weights and cheer you on
  • Giving up their Friday to help you out with the heavy lifting for a work event
  • Changing their WhatsApp picture to one of you as a couple, because they were thinking of you
  • Driving to Tecom at 11pm just because Park n Shop is the only place that stocks your favorite flavor of Ben & Jerry’s
  • A foot rub after a hellish day
  • Picking up the dry cleaning, because you forgot for 3 weeks
  • Running a bath and filling the room with candles and bubbles so you feel pampered
  • Remembering that you only like the organic peanut butter when it’s their turn to shop
  • Taking nappy and night time duty so you can have a full night’s rest

  • Knowing what your favorite meal is and, more importantly, how to cook it (on a regular basis)

  • Actually listening to how your day was, with follow-up questions and supportive comments
  • Serenading you karaoke style, just to see you smile
  • Making an effort with your friends on a night out, even the ones they don’t like at all
  • A surprise picnic on the beach Writing you a poem about how much they love you (even if it isn’t very good)
  • Offering to accompany you to get your driving license renewed
  • Sending a get-well message to your mother when she’s sick, totally behind your back
  • Making a big fuss over you for your little accomplishments
